Meotec has implemented a fully automated manufacturing process for regulated industries in collaboration with Schaeffler Special Machinery. The result is automated post-processing with electrochemical etching, defined surface modification and plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO). All process steps are integrated inline, digitally monitored and validation-oriented. This guarantees reproducible quality, up to 10 times faster throughput times and regulatory compliance. Additive manufacturing is an industrially scalable process – it is ready for medical technology and aviation.
