The establishment of Meotec GmbH & Co. KG in 2011.
The initial premises encompassed approximately 160 m².
2016
Relocation
New facilities for administration, research, and development totaling approximately 700 m².
The team has grown from 2 to 12 members.

DIN EN ISO 13485
Implementation of a quality management and ensurance system as per DIN EN ISO 13485.
2017
Spin-off Fibrothelium
As part of various R&D activities, the decision was made to establish a new company dedicated to the field of soft tissue regeneration.
Fibrothelium was founded in May 2017.
2018
Building extension
In the first quarter of 2018, additional premises were acquired to establish a fully integrated process chain for manufacturing our magnesium alloy and implant systems. A production hall with 1,000 m² of usable space is being constructed. The number of employees has continued to grow.
2018
Spin-off Medical Magnesium
In April 2018, a joint venture was established between Meotec GmbH & Co. KG and a family-owned company. The goal is to accelerate the development and certification of absorbable magnesium implants: Medical Magnesium GmbH was founded.
2019
Rebranding
Meotec GmbH & Co. KG becomes Meotec GmbH.
For the frist time the team grows over 20 members.
2020
Building Extension
In the first quarter of 2020, a new administration building is being occupied. Approximately 700 m² will accommodate all administrative staff.
2020
Activation of first cleanroom
In order to further expand the areas of Contract Manufacturing and Implant Solutions, a cleanroom is being put into operation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021
Organizational restructuring
To strengthen the individual entrepreneurial activities in their joint appearance and to reorganize the shareholder structures, a holding company is founded: elevate.tech GmbH.
The number of employees has increased to 24.
2022
Brand and corporate identity
In order to better and uniformly represent the activities of Meotec GmbH externally, the brand ‘meo.’ is established.
2023
Continous growth
The Performance Materials and Contract Manufacturing divisions are growing steadily.
Today, Meotec has almost 40 employees.
